2 years ago today, i was miserable and watching katrina coverage on tv.
1 year ago today, i was decorating my house for kate's 1st bday party-barnyard babies.
tonight, i am resting-i've spent weeks making the decorations, and i want to go ahead and decorate but andy said i was nuts and i had to wait until friday. i have a closet full of polka dots that need to be adhered to something.
but here is what i picked out for kate for her bday.
she is getting the moo cow backpack so she can carry her own essentials to school.....oh my word that is a big step for mommy. i love toting a diaper bag, but i think it's time for kate to carry something. she wants to. she's also getting the moo cow book tote so we can see which one she can carry better. i want to see which one holds more because she has a lot to carry. but it's a big step for me. no more diaper bag i guess. "toddler tote" has a ring to it, but let's be honest. she wants her own bag. she even likes carrying a purse. and so am i now back to 1 purse? i guess so! que sera sera. thank you, pottery barn kids, for giving my child more independence. i guess next she'll be taking driver's ed.
