more flowery junk

this is the decoration on my bar, which is in my kitchen and attached to the dining room. i used a glass barq's root beer bottle, which was first bottled here on the coast (Biloxi) in 1897. they actually have a great website, and i wikipediaed the product to learn more, and it was cool. it is WAY better than A & W!!!!!!!
i found some wildflowers, amazingly enough. they were on the side of the road across from the beach. i was so excited to see wildflowers here! they actually are coreopsis, which is the MS state wildflower. (my mom taught me that long ago.)
i know lots of MS history, so if you need to know just ask. she even made Mississippi mud cake for my 2nd grade class one time just so we would be able to experience it.
anyway, also on my favorite platter, which is a lime green French pottery piece, i have a Good Earth bowl, which was pretty popular where we used to live. i haven't seen it sold down here except in swanky Diamondhead community, 15 miles east.
I also have my delicious "Good Morning" Yankee Candle, of which I have not found a better brand of candle.
i know this post seems very self righteous and snobby but i love these products and i wanted to share them with you. i love decorating, even though andy thinks it's a waste of time, but it's my outlet.
